Following the acquisition of cPanel by Oakley Capital several months ago, cPanel have announced a bombshell to all its loyal customers with the announcement of what appears to be an unsustainable price hike.
Effective from Thursday June 27th, 2019 cPanel will no longer offer yearly or multi-year cPanel licenses but will be charging on a per user type pricing model, this announcement has caused a massive upheaval within the industry.
Some hosting providers are anticipating an 800% + cost base price increase following the change to the cPanel licencing model and pricing structure.
Following a detailed review of the position Domain Leasing Services, either now or in the future, will not be making any changes to our current customers hosting account packages or pricing because of these unprecedented additional licencing costs which will be covered by ourselves.
Our new hosting account packages have been amended to reflect these changes.
